CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION

Last garbage pick up day at the church, somehow church garbage was missed and not picked up.  The same night I made a call to put a service request that garbage be picked up.  It was not done, so I put another call to request and by Friday, it was still not done.  So I put another call to complain that garbage needs to be picked up.  By Tuesday, a full one week later and after four service calls, church garbage was finally picked up.  No explanation was given as to why it was missed in the first place. I was persistent with having our garbage picked up as I see garbage like our sin.  All of our dirty and unclean things needs to be gotten rid of and we do so by throwing it into the garbage bin.  As for our sins, when we confess our sins, they are taken away and we are made clean by the blood of Jesus Christ.  Just as it is important that our garbage is out of our lives, sin needs to be confessed, repented and gotten rid of in our lives through the blood of Jesus.  I pray that we will all do this everyday so that no sin remain in us
