PREVIOUS MESSAGES

SCRIPTURE:

V31 Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.

V32 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

V33 But Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.” 34 “I tell you the truth, Jesus answered, “This very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” 35 But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.

Sermon Points:

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Partoral Reflection

Ever wash your face, shave or comb your hair in the dark? I tried to shave in the dark as the light can be very bright to the eyes in the early morning. Result is awful. You miss spots and you look half clean. Yet, many times we do the same. Word of God is like a mirror in our lives and we need to look at ourselves with Jesus who is the light of the world. As the bright light of Jesus is shining upon us, we then can see our true image. Without Jesus, it is like washing or shaving in the dark. You don’t see all your sins, all your dirt. This is why it is important that we do everything with Jesus as our light. As we begin the Holy Week, I pray that we will all look at ourselves in the light of Jesus Christ. We want to be like Jesus, to be holy and clean in all areas of our lives.
